The AdBlue (DEF) system on modern diesel vehicles is an emissions control measure required for road use. For off-road vehicles, plant machinery, and agricultural equipment, it can be a source of persistent issues: fault codes, vehicles going into limp mode due to DEF-related triggers, and the ongoing cost of AdBlue refills.
An ECU-based AdBlue delete reprograms the engine control unit to remove those fault triggers. The system is disabled at the software level. No physical hardware removal is required.
